Hi, I'm James.  I'm an After Effects Animator, C4D Generalist, & UX motion designer currently based in SF who makes IOS apps on the side.  For the last 8 years, I've been working in the animation industry on a wide selection of projects at various studios in NYC.  I consider myself a design-minded animator with interests and experience that spans over many different fields.  Figuring out how to bring a project to life is what I love to do!

Over the last few years, I've had a growing interest in blending my love for animation and app development.  In 2016 I released my first app which was a music game for kids.  People seemed to like it and we even won some awards!  In 2017, I then moved from NYC to California to work for Google.  Over that year at Google, I've focused on crafting consistent motion languages across some of the company's most complicated products. In 2018, I went to work at Facebook to join The Collective, a small team of designers & animators.

I’m also currently building a mobile game that I’m really excited about called DodoPeak.

When I'm not on the computer I try to stay young playing in bands.  I enjoy collaborating, good conversation, and coffee.
